In 1979, our founder borrowed money from his mom, bought a truck, and convinced a dishwasher to take a chance on him.

That dishwasher became employee #1. That truck became the foundation of a fleet. And that handshake became the beginning of something bigger than either of them imagined.

Forty-five years later, that dishwasher is now the General Manager of our Lillian location—still showing up, still leading, still part of the team that built this company from the ground up.

Today, EarthWorks serves over 1,400 properties across DFW and Houston. In 2025, we became part of Osprey Landscape Group—a network of regional landscape leaders with local expertise and national backing.

We have certified crews, advanced systems, and decades of experience.

But the philosophy remains simple.

As our current president says: "Our goal is to make people happy."

That's it. That's the whole mission. Quality work. Consistent service. And making people happy along the way.

WHAT IS THE
EARTHWORKS EFFECT?

The EarthWorks Effect started with something simple: do quality work at a fair price, and build a company where good people can build real lives. In the early days, EarthWorks wasn't trying to be flashy—it was trying to be dependable. The goal was honest services, done right, with attention to detail that made clients feel confident and employees feel proud.

Over time, that foundation became something bigger. As the company grew, it became clear that landscaping wasn't just about maintenance—it was about management. Understanding the full system: irrigation, trees, turf, soil, drainage, seasonal timing, and the countless details most people don't realize they're paying for until something fails. That's where the EarthWorks Effect evolved into what it is today: an experience rooted in quality, delivered through expertise, standards, and consistency.

That's why we show up as advisors, not vendors. We don't lead with sales pressure. We lead with clarity—listening first, identifying what's really driving the frustration, and then building a plan to solve the root problem without cutting corners. We help property teams understand what matters, what to expect, and what it takes to protect the property long-term.

You'll see "The EarthWorks Effect" planted all over our sales materials and social media. And sure, it's catchy—it rolls right off the tongue. But before we named it, we believed it, worked it, and built a life around it.

And behind that client experience is the part we're most protective of: the culture. The EarthWorks Effect only works when the people doing the work are respected. We believe every role matters. We believe pride creates consistency. And we believe the quality a client sees on a property will always reflect the quality of the team behind it.
